Developed by My Privacy Tools, Anti Hacker is a handy security tool that will help you see which ports are open and check all remote internet connections to your PC, see if there are any applications that display keylogger-like behavior, and find out if there are any suspicious programs installed on your machine. To sum it up, Anti Hacker is a security tool that will help you catch Trojans, keyloggers, worms, and other suspicious programs that make their way onto your PC.

You can quickly install Anti Hacker on a PC powered by anything from Windows 98 up to Windows 7. To do so, you must download the 1MB executable and run it; a setup wizard will then show up and guide you through the installation process.

Buttons for Anti Hacker’s main functions are presented at the top: Keylogger Scan, Connection Monitor, Open Port Checker, and Suspicious Program Scanner. The pane underneath presents the results of the scan you launched. Way down at the bottom there are buttons for closing a program, searching for online info on a program, and a few other buttons.

Hit the Keylogger Scan button and the application will scan your system in search of programs that show keylogger-like behavior; all the results, accompanied by a risk level assessment will be displayed in a list. Hit Connection Monitor and the application will uncover all remote internet connections to your computer. The list of results displays the connection IP, IP location, port, and program publisher. The Open Port Checker conducts a port scan of your system, testing your firewall security. Last but not least, the Suspicious Program Scanner will take a look at your system and see if there are any suspicious programs you should worry about, like spyware, Trojans, or hacking tools.

For a trial period of 30 days you can use Anti Hacker free of charge and evaluate the functionality it has to offer. Once this trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using the security tool.
